DENVER CHILDREN’S PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY:

My favorite portraits of children are the ones where I am cable to capture your child’s soul and gives a glimpse of the people they will become. It’s a portrait that can stand alone on a wall but tells you something about that child just by looking into their eyes.

About your Child’s Portrait Session:

Photo Sessions can occur either at my Denver photography studio or on location. If an outdoor location is your preference all location shoots start two hours before sunset which changes thru out the year. Most locations are chosen by me based on your location and your child’s age. If you are interested in Studio Portraits these session can occur anytime during regular business hours.

Child Photography Session Pricing:

The fee for a children’s portrait sessions is $250 which includes my time to photograph, my time to edit 20-30 images and present them to you in your own personal online gallery that you can share with friends and family. This gallery is available online for viewing and ordering of prints and products for 14 days after it has been released. If you would prefer, clients are always welcome to set up a premier ordering session with me two weeks after their session date. This allows you to view products, see images via a slideshow and go thru your order with me personally.

Prints and products are in addition to the session fee. Prints 8×12 and smaller start at $45, photo collections start at $350 which offer substantial savings over al a carte pricing. Individual digital files are not available until a $350 minimum print/product order has been purchased.

Children’s Portrait Wardrobe Suggestions:

I absolutely love pattern, texture, layers, accessories and color!! I really strive to break people of the all white, all black or matchy-match of siblings. When you match kids together the first thing people will notice is not the children but that they are matching! That is not what I want people to notice. I want people to notice the children’s faces not the clothing. I ask people to not wear white as it is a very reflective color and the first thing that will be noticed in an image because of how bright of a color it is. White works great on a beach; unfortunately we don’t have many of those here in Colorado. Black is the opposite of white and sucks up color leaving people without much shape in an image. If you want to wear black please break it up with some color or pattern.

Almost all my clients will text or email me images of their clothing choices and I am happy to assist with your clothing choices.
