  • Welcome to my blog!

It has taken me forever to find the words to describe myself. Simply, I am just a girl trying to do what she loves, taking pictures and making memories families will cherish forever. I feel very blessed by my family, husband, children and friends. Before finding Children's Photography I was working in the Advertising Photography world for seven years. I knew the long hours of the Ad world were going to be difficult once we had children. I kept my studio though and naturally began photographing my own children, friends began asking me to photograph their children and I fell in love with children's photography.

And here I am today loving life....

Innocence

So, I don’t know if I can call this a sneak peek considering I am almost done editing this job.  I thought I would put a few of the images on the blog for everyone to enjoy.  The girls are actually from two sets of families and are cousins. They are so lucky to spend so much time together they actually seem more like sisters!

Beautiful

Tonight my session was with Daraian a High School Senior.  We lucked out we didn’t have rain but the wind was crazy somehow we managed to survive and get some amazing pictures.  I’ll be honest I used to be nervous taking Senior pictures but I have grown to love taking them, the seniors themselves are so awesome and what a great time in life so many new things to come.  Everyone wish Daraian good luck she was nominated for Homecoming Queen which I personally think she should win!

And without further ado here is your sneak peek….

Wouldn’t expect anything less from you Christina, you do absolutely amazing work!!!

Strength

Tonight I had a session with a little boy who has already experienced more in life than any of us have or ever will experience.  He is fighting and winning a battle with brain cancer.  His name is Zach and he is one of the strongest, courageous and sweetest boys I know.  It was hard for me not to cry tonight as it is right now when his mother put his beads of courage necklace on which represents every poke, treatment or scan that he has had in just the last year, every bead has a story.  {tears}  Thank you so much for the opportunity to document this success story for you guys I can’t even imagine what this last year has been like for all of you.  And Congratulations to Zach for beating Cancer!

And Olivia what a doll, isn’t she beautiful?!   She adored these tutus and was the perfect little model for me.  She is such a character and makes me laugh when I think of all her poses tonight.

Here is your sneak peek and there are sooooo many more amazing pictures to come.

Baby Blues

Yes, I still do work in the studio!  I am lov’n my sessions outside but it’s always nice to go inside and enjoy my little subjects.  Check out the blue eyes on Violet and don’t you just love that name!?  I am partial to the name Violet that was one of our names for a girl when I was pregnant.

And Finn he is the next Einstein, this little guy isn’t even three yet and knew his ABC’s, what letters started words like “mouse” and even sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” with me.  I was amazed by him and his entire family, it was a pleasure to meet all of you!

Sam and Will

Announcing Sam and Will!  These two were immediately IN LOVE with this trike and I couldn’t believe how well Will at two could pedal and tow his brother Sam.  Sam and Will are so different as well which is always amazing to me that we truly are born with our personality, Sam is a ball of energy and you can tell he is going to be the joker and Will is the serious one and has to really feel things out, I think you can even see the difference in the pictures.  Photography is amazing what you can really capture in a photo.
